Every year the Mythological Leadership Council meets for an Office Holiday Party to blow off steam and get a sneak preview of the upcoming season’s most requested toy. What usually makes for a quiet evening of holiday cheer and Christmas carols takes a turn when some of the guests have a little too much eggnog and get the party out of control. Santa said it best, “With two DJs, an all-you-can-eat raw bar, a sneak preview of the Toy Shop’s newest u-drone, and two weeks until Christmas, what could possibly go wrong?”
Get ready for a night of mayhem, mischief, and murder with this holiday themed murder mystery party game!

How It Works
Horror at the North Pole can be played with 5 to 16 characters, all gender-neutral characters and expertly crafted in-house. The game forgoes the playing board to create an interactive and improvisational experience for players, ensuring a hilarious night.
Every player is given a detailed character description with 5-7 guiding objectives per round to uncover the killer – and from there – all bets are off! Players are encouraged to let loose and allow their imagination to run wild while they interact with others for the ultimate whodunnit experience.
Horror at the North Pole is great for friends, family, and coworkers. Recommended for ages 13+. We provide instant access upon purchase. Just print and play!

At Mischief Games, we strive to make hosting easy and fun so that participation as a Host doesn’t require any previous experience or much effort at all. We've intentionally designed our Character Booklets so that Hosts can quickly prep the materials without spoiling the ending of the game.
- No more cutting and stuffing envelopes.
- No more sifting through endless pages of materials.
- No more knowing the victim or killer ahead of time.
With our games, you can be the Host, assign yourself your favorite character, play the game without knowing whodunnit, and can even be the victim or killer.

"I have played other murder mystery games before but the level of detail, creativity and thoughtfulness behind each character and the overall storyline has forever set mischief games apart in my mind."

Great game! E
I bought "Horror at the North Pole" for a group of 16 (3 didn't show) and was left quite unimpressed. There are so many plotholes and empty threats--if you've played free form games, this is really not matching expectations. The theme, though, is very creative.
SPOILERS AHEAD: My last objective before dying was to talk to six characters, but i was supposed to die in 30 minutes! A character came up to me saying they needed to talk, and that I'm supposed to have dirt on them... this info was nowhere to be found on my sheet. Regardless, I was supposed to be threatening different people, but no one cared because it was essentially 12 against 1.
At the end of the game, lots of people thought it was cute but didn't understand why they would go out of their way to complete objectives that had no impact on the ending at all.
Finally, I'd rather sift through papers and have a fulfilling game. This type of game STILL requires work on the host's side. Printing 16 character sheets three times, and folding them each... is still time. In reality, not much time is saved here.
My work team had so much fun playing in character, it was a great end of year party! I loved that I could host and play too, no spoilers if you follow instruction.
Very fun!
This was a really fun activity! My group unfortunately had some no shows, so we did not get to experience the game in its entirety, but nonetheless it is a fun game with a good story. I would definitely recommend this for your event, just make sure guests understand how important it is to communicate if they are no longer coming. I would like to purchase a game in the future, but make it something I just do with family. I would highly recommend purchasing from them, instructions were clear and thorough, the story was fun, and it all comes together very well!!
