Y2Killer
Y2Killer
A customer favorite, Y2Killer is an outrageously fun murder mystery party game packed with early 2000s nostalgia, celebrity scandals, and twists that will keep you laughing and guessing until the very end. With a ridiculous cast of characters and a highly social format, it’s the kind of party game your group won’t stop talking about.

The Story
It’s December 31, 1999, and the threat of the Y2K bug has everyone doing one of two things: panicking or partying like it’s 1999. Jo Jive, the owner of the hottest record label of the decade, has chosen the latter. To celebrate the possible end of the world, Jo invites the most VIP of VIPs to Encore Lemieux, the city’s hottest new nightclub.
But what was meant to be a bougie, totally exclusive affair starts to unravel when a few uninvited guests arrive, invitation mysteriously in hand. As midnight approaches and paranoia sets in, it becomes clear that not everyone plans to ring in the new year the same way.
By the end of the night, someone will be dead.
How It Works
Y2Killer can be played with 5 to 20 players, all gender-neutral characters and expertly crafted in-house. The game forgoes the playing board to create an interactive and improvisational experience for players, ensuring a hilarious night.
Every player is given a detailed character description with 5-7 guiding objectives per round to uncover the killer – and from there – all bets are off! Players are encouraged to let loose and allow their imagination to run wild while they interact with others for the ultimate whodunnit experience.
Y2Killer is great for friends, family, and co-workers. Recommended for ages 17+. We provide instant access upon purchase. Just print and play!

"I have played other murder mystery games before but the level of detail, creativity and thoughtfulness behind each character and the overall storyline has forever set mischief games apart in my mind."

I hosted a girls night with 10 guests using the Y2K Killer game and everyone committed which made it all the more fun!
I will definitely be going with Mischief Games for future events!
Fun characters and provoked so many theories and debate!
Played with 16 friends. As host i did not participated. We had great fun.
As non native English speakers i translated some of the content (invitation and the script for the host and detective). I used old fashioned paper mail for the invitation what caused that most friends made effort to dress up their character.
We are a group of friends that know ech other a long time (30 years+) so i looked at the specific roles to assign them. That helped a lot with the fun.
First time I was hosting a murder mystery and it went great! I was a bit worried that some of my friends won’t enjoy it, but the game was made so thoughtfully that it pulled everyone in and we all had a great time. The set up was super easy and so were the rules. Cannot recommend Mischief Games enough!
