We loved Uproar in the Jungle! I discovered Mischief Games through Reddit, and it was exactly what I hoped for—simple to run, creatively flexible, and still kept the storyline intact.

This was my first time hosting a murder mystery, and although I was a bit nervous, it turned out to be an absolute breeze. The prep was straightforward, with tons of helpful suggestions to level up the experience. My guests had a blast with the character prompts and got way more into it than I expected! I thought it would be too difficult for kids, but they were actually the best sleuths! They caught details the adults missed.

I especially appreciated the mix-and-mingle format. It felt more like a fun party than a performance, which really helped draw in the more introverted guests. I chose not to know who the murderer was, and the game is cleverly designed so the host can fully join the fun and be surprised too!

The best part? It’s genuinely funny without being cheesy.

Super fun, and everyone had a lovely time! The instructions were very clear and made hosting a blast. Only thing--we weren't all quite sure what to do after the murder occurred, so maybe just provide a note that says move onto Round 3 after the murder?

This game was so fun to host and run, I ran it with a group of 20 and despite the big number everything went so smoothly and facilitate so many new connections amongst the people at the party!!! I have a few small notes (but I want to reiterate again what a pleasure this game was to play first because it was a truly a delight!!!), I think it would have been helpful in the 3rd round if the host script included the information detective Dubois was given so the host and detective can work as a pair(like in my case). I believe some of this information was included in the host manual but in-between cooking and hosting I couldn’t check the pdf. I think the script amongst the required characters could be a little clearer as my lovely players were getting a bit jumbled with when to speak with such a big group but these are both very minor things that I think only affected a big group play through :)) I have never hosted a RPG before but my partner loves them so it was nice to be able to surprise them and host them in such an accessible way, thank you for this game <3

We had a team of about 35 people and it was so much fun! The team loved it! Bethany made everything so easy and was there for any questions - highly recommend!

This game was so much fun!! We had a group of 8 girls for a bachelorette party and everyone had a blast! Would highly recommend! Customer service was also wonderful!

We had a lot of fun with this! Really lean in and tell the participants to stay true to character. I recommend having. A host not be a character because it’s a lot to manage. I also would shorten the segments potentially. What a blast!

We played this on the 31st night, Its a super fun game, only need it to print the material but we have a printer shop next door so got it from there.

Our group loved this murder mystery!! It was so fun to see everyone get dressed up and so into the theme. I really enjoyed how everything was put together and so well organized, it made the prep easy and running the event super smooth. I also miscounted my guests when ordering and Bethany was wonderful to work with an accommodated my mistake. 100% recommend Mischief Games!!

Hosted this on NYE and the whole party had a great time! Excited to try another mystery in the future!

This was a really fun activity! My group unfortunately had some no shows, so we did not get to experience the game in its entirety, but nonetheless it is a fun game with a good story. I would definitely recommend this for your event, just make sure guests understand how important it is to communicate if they are no longer coming. I would like to purchase a game in the future, but make it something I just do with family. I would highly recommend purchasing from them, instructions were clear and thorough, the story was fun, and it all comes together very well!!

We had SOO much fun playing this game! This was our first murder mystery experience and we loved it! I wish we had taken more photos but we were too busy enjoying ourselves. :)

I hosted this game and I loved that I didn’t know who was the victim or killer and was able to play along. Easy set up too!
